This class is terrific for complete beginners as well as experienced sewers who are looking for a fun\, new project! Each bag measures approximately 9″ H x 11″ W (at bottom) x 3″ D\, offers premium leather strap and zipper pull\, and will be offered in black\, green\, and a rotating color/pattern. \n\n\n\nYou’ll learn the fundamentals of operating a sewing machine\, sewing basic stitches\, attaching a zipper\, and adding rivets. You will leave with one finished Alberta bag and pattern\, as well as the confidence to continue sewing on your own. This is a stand-alone class\, so feel free to take our Sewing Bootcamp or other sewing classes afterwards to continue honing your craft! \n\n\n\nSupplies Needed: None. We supply all fabric\, leather\, hardware\, and the machines. We will be using the popular Klum House Alberta Crossbody Tote sewing pattern for this project. (More information on this design may be found here on the Klum House site.) Also\, you will be using a simple Janome 2212\, which is great for learning and skills can easily transfer to other machines. Please don’t bring your own machine. \n\n\n\n \n\n\nInstructor Bio: Hayley has been sewing since the tender age of three. A jack of all trades\, she has extensive experience with sewing\, past works include upholstery\, stuffed animals\, home goods\, clothing\, alterations and repairs\, tailoring\, bags\, and just about anything else you can think of! \n\n\n\n \n\nThe rules / important stuff: We have a NO EXCEPTIONS 72 HOUR CANCELLATION policy – this includes cancellation\, re-books\, gift certificates\, moving classes\, etc. For more information on canceling a class\, please read our cancellation policy.
